Movies that Matter
Movies that Matter offers a platform for film makers who create films that deal with human rights and social justice issues. These films are presented throughout the year in the On Tour programme in 17 Dutch film theatres, online and at the yearly Movies that Matter Festival in The Hague.
In addition to offering more than 60 screenings of both fiction films and documentaries, the Movies that Matter Festival has an array of debates, talks and special international guests. As it’s been so long since MtM became an independent foundation, the festival will also feature musical performances, an exhibition, masterclasses and more.
