UvA Talen offers both online and in-class language courses in 12 different languages; Dutch, English, Italian, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Japanese, Russian, and Arabic. To win a place in a group course of your choice, submit the form below before Jun 6. The winner will be announced via email after the competition has ended.
Language courses to suit your schedule
At UvA Talen, you have the choice between taking an evening course in one of the 12 languages offered, one of the popular intensive day courses for Dutch and English, or even a weekend course! These courses are given both online and in our classrooms in Amsterdam.

About UvA Talen
UvA Talen is the independent language centre of the University of Amsterdam, serving expats from around the world.
UvA Talen offers group courses at different levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. You can also opt for courses in which they teach you a specific aspect of a language, such as writing or speaking and business or academic language use. Individual courses, e-learning programmes, and an inTense programme, in which you can learn a language in rapid time, are also offered by UvA Talen. Anyone can follow a course at UvA Talen: students, non-students, business customers – everyone!
Every year, thousands of students from all over the world successfully complete a group course and are awarded a certificate for an internationally recognised language level.
