Removing the seats from the Main Hall, The Concertgebouw allows you to choose whether you want to lie down or sit as harpist Lavinia Meijer plays music by Ludovico Einaudi and Philip Glass on July 20. Later that day, you can dance the night away at La Grande Fissa, with DJ St. Paul and Friends.
If you feel nostalgic, join in on August 20 for The Bootleg Beatles with I Feel Fine, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Help! and much more. Take an hour to forget about your phone, your obligations and your worries in Piano Nights on August 15 where you can be amazed by two pianists as they play music ranging from Einaudi to Bach, in a wonderful atmosphere.

About The Royal Concertgebouw
The Royal Concertgebouw was built over 135 years ago at what is now the Museumplein. At that time however, it was located in the middle of a meadow, with a ditch running in front of it and cows grazing nearby. By sheer luck, the building happened to have amazingly good acoustics, which now draws musicians and listeners from all over the world to Amsterdam.
Currently, there are about 750 concerts per year from which you can choose, even during the summer months. Come rain or shine, there is music to be enjoyed almost every night.
