Scheveningen Choir Festival
Scheveningen Choir Weekend (Terug naar de Kust - Korenweekend Scheveningen) brings choirs from The Hague and the rest of the Netherlands to the famous beach of Scheveningen. Choirs large and small, of many different genres, will converge in song on the outdoor stages in the third edition of this exciting festival.
A varied and exciting programme
On the first day, the choirs will perform on stage, and on the second day, sea shanties will be the main feature. There will be six stages centred around Scheveningen's two most famous landmarks, the Kurhaus and the pier, as well as on the Keizerstraat, with an exciting programme of choral music of all sorts.
The festival takes place on Saturday, September 28, from 11.30am to 6.15pm. The types of choir and the genres of the music varies hugely: think pop, gospel, classical, musicals, jazz, close harmony, tearjerkers and children’s theatre. Each performing group will give two 20-minute performances.
Sing your heart out at Scheveningen

At 11.30am near the Oude Kerk, there will be a singalong led by Gregor Bak for a thousand voices, welcoming both choir members and festival visitors!
