Piano recital streamed live from Muziekgebouw
Tomoko Mukaiyama will give a piano recital live on Youtube, which will include the Dutch première of La Mode by Kyriakides and visual show by Reinier van Brummelen.
Piano and electronics concert with captivating visuals
On Friday, May 1 at 3pm, the Tomoko Mukaiyama Foundation and Muziekgebouw present a special piano recital featuring the cross-disciplinary artist Tomoko Mukaiyama. The concert, streamed live from the Main Hall, is titled SUPER T: A Live.
Mukaiyama will give the Dutch premiere of La Mode by Dutch-Greek composer Yannis Kyriakides. The performance is made into an awe-inspiring spectacle, with a visual experience created by cinematographer Reinier van Brummelen. Especially for this concert, he made a light installation including the LED panels of the hall.
“Everyone is under threat and no one is sure about the future. There's a light, a light of creation. Corona cannot stop us from creating.”
