The concert opens with the impressive a cappella Miserere Mei by Allegri. This work was once not allowed to be sung anywhere other than the Vatican. Until 14-year-old Mozart heard it in the Sistine Chapel in Rome and wrote it down in full. Now you can hear it live during the performances!
