Meet new people as an expat - Coaching Workshop
Would you like to improve your social life as an expat? Then this is the workshop for you!
The value of a healthy social life
A healthy social life is a basic human need, something that expats can sometimes neglect due to their busy lives. Research says that loneliness due to an unhealthy social life significantly raises the risk of a number of health problems, including heart disease and low vitality.
Meet new people
WeSocialCOMMUNITY believes in the value of meaningful relationships. In light of this, they present the coaching workshop "Meet new people as an expat".
Their workshops help expats to further deepen their relationships with colleagues, meet new people and invest more time in their passions. Increase your self-esteem and be more at ease with or without others around you.
Amongst other things, participants will learn:
- how to get in contact with new people
- how to start and carry on a meaningful conversation
- new perspectives on the questions you can ask during the workshop
Step outside of your comfort zone
The workshop will guide you on how to learn from your own experiences, and encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone. You will head to the streets of Amsterdam and expand your comfort zone by meeting new people and using some carefully selected exercises.
Experiences like these will give you new insights on letting go of others’ opinions, rejections and not knowing what to say.
At the workshop, you will receive:
- an interactive workshop
- practical exercises on the streets
- a workbook
- the option to take a follow-up course
- coffee and tea
WeSocialCOMMUNITY:
WeSocialCOMMUNITY (WSC) is the umbrella organisation of WeSocialWOMEN and WeSocialMEN. They believe in the value of meaningful relationships. Instead of reaching for external results, they focus on your connection with yourself to obtain internal results. Your personal development is the main goal.
Limited availability
Please note, this workshop is open to a limited number of people, in order to ensure that everyone is given personal attention. The last workshop in EIndhoven, organised with their partners Holland Expat Centre South, was sold out, so be sure to secure your seat now!
