An all-day yoga celebration
Yoga is an umbrella term for a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices and disciplines that originated in India, most likely between the 5th and 6th centuries. Hatha yoga, for instance, is extremely popular all over the world and involves physical postures and stretches to promote physical health and wellbeing, but it is only the tip of the iceberg.
There are many forms, not all of them involving physical exertion, many of them delving deeply into spiritual dimensions of our consciousness. This all-day yoga event for all walks of life is the perfect chance to find out more.
Reserve your place at the International Day of Yoga
Admission is free, but reserving your place is essential. You can book on the Yoga Day Amsterdam website. Yoga can sometimes be expensive for many people, so this is your chance to experience a whole day dedicated to yoga for free.
