European premiere of the series Amsterdam Ave

Amsterdam Ave - a new Dutch American series
Amsterdam Ave is a new Dutch American web series featuring a Dutch Surinamese girl in Amsterdam and an Indian American girl in NYC who switch places to follow their dreams.
An almost all-female crew and cast
Amsterdam Ave is written by the filmmaker duo Dionne van den Berg and Pooja Tripathi, who also star in the series as Maya who goes from Amsterdam to New York, and Kyran who travels from New York to Amsterdam.
It features female writers, producers, director, cinematographer, and an almost entirely female crew in Holland and NYC. Dutch and American talent are the ingredients of this project, which includes the music director DJ twins Coco & Breezy who make an appearance in the series, Catherine Curtin (Insecure, Stranger Things, Orange Is the New Black, Homeland), Beau Schneider, Farrieda Smit, and Michael de Roos.
Amsterdam Ave is directed by Amanda Hanna-Mcleer, an up-and-coming director who has been working in post-production for the past five seasons of Comedy Central's Broad City.

The schedule of the evening of October 24 at Lab 111 is as follows:
- 7pm: Doors open
- 7:30pm: Screening of the first three episodes of Amsterdam Ave begins
- 8:30pm: Q&A with show's creators
- 9pm: Event ends
