"Chad in Amsterdam" is a quarterly comic book all about the daily life of Chad Bilyeu, an American expat in Amsterdam. This release party is perfect for expats, immigrants, locals, comic book fans, artists or anyone curious about writing, comedy, social commentary, illustration and storytelling.

About the comic book

"Chad in Amsterdam" consists of five short stories written by Chad Bilyeu, an American adapting to life in Amsterdam after moving from Washington DC in 2009. It’s a chronicle of his daily life, interactions, adventures and misadventures in his new adopted city.

These five stories have each been illustrated by five different artists in a luxurious black-and-white production with a colour cover illustration.

The "Chad in Amsterdam" release party will be the first opportunity to purchase the comic, ahead of its public launch. You can even meet the author himself!

To celebrate, there will be drinks and music by Smoke$wift, DJ Black & Lekker and DJ Turne. The venue of choice is Doka in the Volkshotel, a happening hive of hip gatherings. Entrance is free!
