The Age of Consequences is a compelling and unnerving film that investigates the effects of climate change on migration, natural resources and conflict, through the lens of Pentagon insiders.

A documentary about social, political and environmental issues

A case study told by admirals, generals and military veterans, The Age of Consequences takes us beyond the headlines of the Syria conflict, to the rise of ISIS and the unrest of the Arab Spring and the European refugee crisis. They lay bare how climate change triggers societal tensions, leading to conflict.

This documentary film about social, political and environmental issues calls us to action, declaring that time is our most precious resource. If we continue with “business as usual” then the consequences of climate change will continue increasing with serious outcomes for peace and security.
