No more tax breaks on energy-efficient cars

Tax breaks on green cars cost too much money and will probably be scrapped, according to RTL.

Tax incentives, which include no sales tax and less road tax, were so successful that cost the treasury more than 700 million euros (sales tax).

Note that electric vehicles and certain energy-efficient cars will remain free of road tax.
