Lykke Li

Ten years after releasing her first EP, the Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li has become indispensable in the indie-pop world. This year she returns with her fourth album with the same sensuous voice.

Fantastic Negrito

Renowned for his diversity in his music style, spanning blues, R&B and roots music, Fantastic Negrito won a Grammy in 2017. His latest album Please Don’t be Dead was released in June 2018 and has proved to be his most soulful album to date, full of life stories of his highs and lows.

Caro Emerald

Dutch pop and jazz singer Caro Emerald is one of the most celebrated Dutch music exports of recent years. This tour is inspired by Exotica, the music sub-genre from the 1950s and ‘60s with exotic-sounding elements and instruments.

Enrique Iglesias

Black-Eyed Peas

The multiple-Grammy-winning Black-Eyed Peas came to prominence in the early 2000s and are firmly planted on the international hip-hop map. They are back in Amsterdam after ten years, performing hits from their hip-hop roots and their new sounds.

Talib Kweli

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue takes to the AFAS stage, presenting songs from her 14th album Golden, as well as her old favourites from her breakthrough years in the late 1990s. Golden, released in April 2018, was created in Nashville and shows a considerable amount of country influences. Her Amsterdam performance is set to be an extravagant production.

Tom Baxter

Singer-songwriter Tom Baxter performs material from his album The Other Side of Blue, an album which took ten years to create. This special and intimate performance focuses on Baxter in his purest form, appearing on stage alone, with his guitar and piano.

Ms. Lauryn Hill

Ms. Lauryn Hill stops off at Amsterdam on her "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour". Part of the ticket sales proceeds go to the Ms. Lauren Hill Fund, a charitable initiative that Hill set up. This tour is inspired by the artist’s childhood and its optimism, encouragement and sense of community.

The Prodigy

The British group The Prodigy have been building a solid name for themselves over the past 28 years, ever since they emerged from the underground rave scene of the 1990s. Their appearance in Amsterdam is part of their 2018 European tour with their new album No Tourist. This 7th album is long-awaited.

A Perfect Circle

This band has become a big name in the rock and metal genres. After almost 20 years and four albums, A Perfect Circle has had a lot of changes in members. The current line-up is Howerdel Keenan, James Iha (previously from Smashing Pumpkins), Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins.

Cypress Hill

This Latin American hip-hop band from Los Angeles perform in Amsterdam as part of the Elephants on Acid tour, dedicated to their new album of the same name. Cypress Hill recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. They previously released eight albums, selling over 18 million records worldwide.

Andre Rieu

It has become a tradition for the year to begin with a performance by Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss orchestra. Postmen

The Dutch reggae / hip-hop band Postmen play in Amsterdam during their latest tour, celebrating 20 years since their debut album Documents. The new three-part EP series Love me or Love me not, is about the dark side and balance of love in life, family and business.

Snow Patrol

Wildness, Snow Patrol’s first album in seven years, was released in May 2018 and placed 5th in the Dutch charts. The Northern Irish band gave exclusive performances at Ziggo following the album release and were highly praised. OOR magazine wrote: “This is Snow Patrol as we know Snow Patrol”.

Eleftheria Avarnitaki

Eleftheria Avarnitaki is a legend in the Mediterranean. In her native Greece, she has super-star status and is iconic on the scene of the rebirth of Greek blues. In 2004, she performed at the closing ceremony of the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Her albums are all recorded by Universal Music Greece.

A Bowie Celebration: The David Bowie Alumni Tour

The music and life of David Bowie is being honoured in Paradiso, in a performance called “A Bowie Celebration: The David Bowie Alumni Tour”, where Bowie himself performed back in 1989 and in 1997.

An impressive line-up of musicians perform at this special concert. These include artists who had long-term collaborations with David Bowie, such as Mike Garson and Gerry Leonard who spent decades performing and recording with Bowie.
