The landlord and landlady are easy going and appreciate having students living with them in their house.They already have students (for now 1 young male, 22 years old) from the university HAN in the house in another room, combining study and work.
School (HAN and Hogeschool Larenstein) are reachable within 5 minutes by bike.
Supermarkets, shops and restaurants are reachable within 5 minutes by bike.
Near the house is a bus stop. The bus can take you to the center of Arnhem. (You can reach the center of Arnhem by bike within 15 minutes).
The room has windows looking at the garden.
Bedding, towels are included if you wish.
Bathroom, kitchen and toilets are shared.
There are two cats allowed in the central living room and outside but not in the rest of the house.
Central living is not shared but please feel comfortable to visit.
The landlord will take care of cleaning shared areas
We developed the house almost as CO2 neutral, we already have heat pumps for hot water and heating, but we cook on fossil gas. 16 solar panels are installed and deliver energy for heating and light.
We produce our own soap for washing machine and hand washing.(no palm oil)) Free to use for our tenants.
The landlord and landlady do like to help you to feel comfortable and save, and give you the privacy you wish.
If the weather is good, you can enjoy the terrace, garden and surroundings, like the castle and park.
