The neighborhood is named after the city park, the "Westerpark", where there is a cultural mecca. The Westergasfabriek provides vibrant energy. Here you will find hip cafés, fine eateries, galleries and even a cinema.
Don't forget to visit the monthly Sunday Market (every first Sunday of the month), inspired by the London markets such as Portobello and Spitalfield! The nice thing about the market is that you can only stand there if you have also produced the products yourself.
Furthermore, it is a quiet living environment with good accessibility. In the immediate vicinity there are various play areas for children, shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, schools and daycare centers.
