Finding and renting a residential property is a serious matter. Interhouse Huur- en Verhuurprofessionals® is the right partner. We have been the absolute specialist in residential rental property mediation for over 17 years. Business sense, transparency and a high service level are top priorities in everything we do.

There are two options for renting via Interhouse Huur- en Verhuurprofessionals®. Our role and the corresponding fees differ for each option.

OPTION 1:
You have seen one of our listings on the internet that seems to match your criteria. You would like to receive more information and perhaps make a viewing appointment.

You can respond online or call/visit our office for some more information and to arrange a viewing appointment. You provide us basic information so we can see if the property you are interested in, is really suitable for you. We arrange access so you can view the applicable property. In case of interest, you can send us a full proposal with the conditions under which you would like to rent the property. In case an agreement is reached, we will check and screen the details and documents you provided on authenticity and creditworthiness, such as income details, ID and/or references from current/previous landlords. After drawing up the tenancy agreement we will present this to you for your approval. If needed, we will provide a detailed explanation of the contract and on request a correct English translation of the tenancy agreement. After delivery of the rented property, you will receive an inspection report and a digital photo report of the pictures taken at the check in. If required, we can also set up subscriptions for energy, internet, cable television and/or telephone.


OPTION 2:
You are looking for a professional estate agent who will actively search the market for a suitable property and will mediate on your behalf to rent this under the most favorable terms and conditions.

You can provide us your search profile in which you inform us about the type of residential property you’re looking for and that you agree to our mediation conditions. When your search profile matches the current rental market in Amsterdam, Amstelveen or surrounding areas, we will offer you suitable properties.
Because of our extensive network we also have access to the offers of other agencies and we are regularly able to offer properties to our clients even before they are listed online.

We provide a presentation of possible suitable properties and we will review this with you to determine which properties you wish to view. We accompany you on viewings of the selected properties that match your criteria and we make corresponding arrangements with the estate agents. We will negotiate with the estate agent on your behalf about the starting date, length of the contract, rent price and other specific stipulations.
We will make every effort to have the landlord agree. After all, it is the landlord who decides whether to rent the property to a tenant. If an agreement is reached, we ensure that the entire procedure is followed correctly, including a suitable tenancy agreement, that all the agreed conditions are specified in the contract and that all parties will sign the tenancy agreement in time. We ensure that the initial payment is made in good time to preventing any delay in delivery. We are present at the delivery of the property as well and inspect the property you have rented thoroughly. We will make sure an inspection report will be drawn up, including the meter readings and the correct number of keys. Besides that we will make a digital photo report as well.

We will ensure that the landlord has complied with all its commitments and if this is not the case, we act on your behalf to solve any problems as soon as possible. If required, we can set up subscriptions for energy, internet, cable television and/or telephone in your name.

By making use of option 2 we offer you all the resources that we use to be at your service. Our skilled employees, a representative office, transportation, means of communication and of course our network to find you the best suitable properties.

If we find you the right accommodation that you will indeed rent, we charge you a fee equal to one month rent plus 21% VAT, based on the asking rent price of the rented property.
