A dazzling time-lapse tribute to life in Amsterdam

Jonas Hofmann of Moments in Motion Videography found a unique way to chronicle his three-day visit to Amsterdam – capturing not only the appearance, but also the atmosphere and flow of the city.

In “hyperlapse” photography, the position of the camera is constantly changed between exposures, resulting in a time-lapse tracking or rotating shot.

The video below uses this technique to let you feel the vibrant, bustling pace of life in Amsterdam against the stateliness of its grand architecture and magnificent skies.
