Main themes: Coming together during coronavirus 

The initial plan for this summer’s edition of ACCESS was meant to focus on the glorious summer of international sporting events that were on the cards. However, as coronavirus slowly spread across the world, the issue was taken over by the new concerns that we are currently facing. 

This issue is therefore centred on the "new normal” we face as a society, with a cover feature aimed at reminding readers that no one is alone right now. Read tips on maintaining mental health and wellbeing during these unprecedented times, and conversations about how education was forced to change.

About ACCESS

ACCESS is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the international community in the Netherlands.

It is staffed by an enthusiastic team of around 115 volunteers from more than 35 countries, all of whom are trained to provide comprehensive information, advice and support, and who are empathetic to the experience of internationals.
