IT Support Engineer

JOB PURPOSEProvide local and remote side IT support


  • Provide hands-on Help Desk support to end-users in a MS Windows environment
  • Maintain the inventory of end-user computer hardware (laptops and workstations)
  • Install and trouble-shoot end-user software (MS Office Suite, plus ancillary software) that complies with SRAM standards
  • Provide Mobile device (Smartphone) support – hardware and apps
  • MS Active Directory user account maintenance and Group Membership
  • MS Exchange Email support for end-users using Outlook and/or Webmail
  • Administer Disaster Recovery procedures using approved data backup solution
  • Support of other office systems; Conference Room A/V equipment, Network, Printers, etc.
  • Provide basic office telephone system support
  • Provide end- user GUI support
  • Basis configuration and activities, (EWA report, Note implementation, RFC, Client maintenance, BTC job management, printers, system copies)
  • System Monitoring and optimization.
  • SAP infrastructure maintenance, (Linux OS upgrade/configuration/Maintenance, AD integration etc...)
  • SAP Backups



  • MBO+ /HBO education (obtained through education or working experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT Help desk or IT Support; within an international environment is a pre
  • Excellent software knowledge especially in SAP and Excel. HANA DB knowledge is preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Service minded with good communication skills
  • Accurate and strong detail focused
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and hands-on mentality
  • Flexible and open minded
