  • Interest in the field of computer science or related discipline;
  • Technical/mechanical background;
  • Experience of working in a high pressure environment; 
  • The role will involve supporting users and servers on both the local site and as part of our technical support services team you will remotely support all other syncreon sites globally.
  • An understanding of desktop hardware, operating systems and software;
  • An understanding of network systems and protocols and of server hardware and operating systems;
  • Solid attention to detail and the ability to create and document process and procedures
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (in English, fluent);
  • The ability to work within a very demanding environment and handling stress in a positive manner;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks;
  • Good problem solver;
  • Flexible attitude: willing to work fulltime in shifts and occasionally in weekends.


Essential Technical Skills

Microsoft Windows 7 & 10, Microsoft Office 2010 – 2016 and 365, Microsoft Windows Server 2008r2, 2012r2 Active Directory / DNS / DHCP /, SCCM, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, MacAfee Antivirus Products – EPO / Virusscan and end point encryption, Servers, Desktops, Laptops and thin clients – Dell, Laser Printers – HP / Dell / Lexmark/ Ricoh/ Xerox, Label Printers - Zebra / Intermec.


Desirable Technical Skills

2008r2 / 2012r2 Microsoft Hyper-V, Servers –Dell / IBM, Apple Mac Hardware Support, Barcode Scanners – Teklogix / Symbol-Motorola / Datalogic, Microsoft SharePoint Services Admin Experience, Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007/Lync 2010 Skype for business. SCOM, SCCM and other MS system center platforms.
