Our international client, a world leading organisation in the IT/Software market, is now hiring a Commercial Training & Sales Manager to be based in the Amsterdam area.
Job Profile for Commercial Training & Sales Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Core activity
  • Act as a product SME for commercial hardware, server, and office
  • Translate product stories into segment-relevant device solutions (educational, small-medium businesses and enterprise)
  • Localise and enhance worldwide training assets to align with channel/markets
  • Execute events for distributors and resellers
  • Deliver soft skills training targeted for commercial sales channels
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for products and programs
Sales Activity
  • Be responsible for Commercial Management of a portfolio of partners
  • Manage and build relationships with this portfolio of partners
  • Responsible for the sales targets achievements for this portfolio of partners  
Role split: Training and readiness activities will represent 60% and sales activities will represent 40%
Tool management
  • Own support ‘Device Partner Edge’ to engage and influence commercial reseller partners
  • Own training of commercial tools for internal and external stakeholders
Helpdesk and troubleshooting support
  • Be the key contact for the field for reporting tool (REP) technical issues
  • Own testing of devices and new releases of the tool and app
  • Be the escalation point for the region on any technical issues that come about
Compliance and activity stats communication
  • Own regular reviews of REP tool activity stats
  • Own review of REP tool stats against targets
  • Communicate regular REP tool targets vs. actuals to sub’s
  • Own the communication to stakeholders about how REP activity is progression each month
Insights delivering
  • Own the analysing of data received from REP tool
  • Identify trends and key insights
  • Create effective consistent communication platforms to deliver relevant insights to the business
  • Flag issues are seen from the data in real-time
Candidate Profile for Commercial Training & Sales Manager
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in organizing events
  • Previous experience in training in both Dutch and English
  • Passionate about technology and IT
  • Possession of own car or driving license
