Account Manager - English speaking markets

As an Account Manager for the English speaking markets (UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zeeland, and South Africa) you will get the unique opportunity to manage your own client accounts and are responsible for building and maintaining working relationships with them. This means, answering customer questions by e-mail and telephone, creating your own market entry strategy and bringing in new clients. With your enthusiastic attitude you are able to promote and communicate special offers about our service to prospective clients. In addition to communicating with clients, you will be required to maintain and update customer information in the CRM system, handle administrative tasks and follow up on outstanding payments.

You will:
  • Be responsible for your own client group
  • Identify growth opportunities within your client accounts
  • Build and maintain working relationships with your client accounts
  • You handle negotiations with a commercial mindset
  • Add value for your client accounts by developing ideas and follow through to achieve a win-win situation for the client and the business
  • Promote and communicate special offers and service to prospective clients by telephone
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Enter customer information in the customer relationship management system
  • Provide feedback and follow through on areas for developing and improving internal processes
  • Be aware and adhere to company policies and guidelines when dealing with challenging clients

Requirements:

You are likely to succeed if:

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Business or related education
  • At least (and not more than) 2-3 years of experience in account management or sales
  • You’re an excellent English speaker (C2)
  • Your mind-set is commercial, you’re engaged and have ambition
  • You are already living within the Netherlands
  • You have an eye for detail.
  • You are persistent, proactive and you have a positive professional attitude
  • You’re a team player, who is accurate and has planning and organisational skills
