Medical Sales Executive | Dutch

Our health and well-being always has and always will be a priority. To help medical as well as fitness professionals in their work of providing accurate care and advice, our international client provides medical equipment that provides insight in to body composition. Based in Amsterdam, they are currently seeking for a Dutch-speaking Sales Executive to join their team and to support with the continuous growth within Belgian and Dutch markets.

What makes this an exciting opportunity is that you will be in charge of the whole sales process; from doing your own market research and finding potential customers, to hold in-person demo meetings, and negotiating the contract. You will also be in charge of representing our client at different events and congresses and support with in-person product trainings, which means that this role will involve travelling.  

In this role, you will:

• Identify new potential customers and creating sales opportunities within the medical field, as well as learn from the market to develop a strong sales strategy
• Close sales contracts within the medical process
• Provide product training to professionals within the medical field
• Maintain good contact with customers within the medical field
• Represent our client at conferences and events
• Collaborate with medical authorities for tender processes

What are we looking for?

• You have a university degree in (bio)medical, nutrition, physiotherapy or a medically related science with an affinity for communication, sales and marketing
• You have prior experience of sales and business development
• You speak English and Dutch fluently
• You have a strong interest in health and medical care and you are dedicated and motivated to contribute to this field
• You have a customer-focused mindset and you are known for your patience and perseverance
• You are open and available to travel for the position
