This is the Role
As Customer Service Representative (CSR) you continuously strive for an optimal Order Management process. As primary contact for our customers you will be making sure that everything is arranged to guarantee on-time deliveries. In some cases you will also be responsible for the coordination of the logistic processes. As first point of contact you will not only handle order entry but also manage customer inquiries, complaints, service level issues and you will be screening actual orders against the forecast. By monitoring and obtaining customer - and market trends, you are the source of competitive intelligence and valuable market insights. Because the products portfolio is diverse and complex, your priorities will change daily.

As Customer Service Representative you are open minded, stress resistant, proactive and you like challenges and multicultural environments. By utilizing your cultural awareness you know how to adapt to specific needs and you are excellent in managing expectations and relations. Because the products portfolio is diverse and complex, your priorities will change daily. The CSR will report the EMEA Supply Chain Manager and be part of a regional supply chain team of Planners, CSRs and CSAs all located in Rotterdam.

You have a natural way of convincing people, combined with a logic mindset and a drive to get things done in the most efficient way.

This is what you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain or Internal Sales experience in an International environment is preferred;
  • Experience with SAP / ERP system is preferred;
  • Knowledge of logistics processes and INCO terms plus related customs procedures and documentation;
  • Fluent in English is required, both verbal and written. Additional language is preferred;
  • Good analytical skills.
