Fight financial crime with data!

Join the mission to combat financial crime by developing and optimizing data-driven solutions that analyze millions of transactions daily. As a Data Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure, ensuring systems remain robust, flexible, and effective against evolving threats.

Among your responsibilities:

Develop and implement scalable components for data processing and generation using Big Data technologies.

Analyze data sources and outputs to identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Proactively address infrastructure challenges, such as performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with the team to design innovative solutions.

Monitor and test the performance of the solutions, driving continuous improvement.

Lead alignment with IT, Architecture, and Data Science teams to optimize model performance and operational efficiency.

Mentor junior and medior colleagues, promoting best practices and consistent ways of working across the team.

Act as a key liaison with higher management, translating technical insights into strategic decisions.

This temporary position in Utrecht (hybrid; office days Mon and Thu) for 36 hours per week starts asap and will initially run for a year. You will be working through a flex contract via us, with a monthly salary between €6,500 and €8,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
