Your duties and responsibilities
- Complete Customer account reviews including analysis of financial accounts to support new and ongoing credit facilities
- Maintain and manage Customer EMEA Group credit facilities- Provide data on above average risk accounts to Collections to escalate those companies’ for focused chasing of debt, if applicable.
- Manage insurance policy compliance including collection cases and claims
- Undertake Customer development/risk management visits with necessary stakeholders where appropriate
- Monitor and validate the bad debt accrual requirements for the EMEA region- Perform analysis to support credit risk strategy, policy and process development including alternative financial offerings
- Manage and action alerts/notifications from various sources to ensure risk exposure is minimised/neutralised
- Monitor and maintain overview of legal collection cases
- Manage and action Customer accounts in administration/liquidation in association with the appropriate stakeholders
- Production and ongoing enhancement of Commercial credit risk reporting, providing timely and accurate monthly reports
- Provide support as necessary on ad hoc defined projects


You will be working very closely (daily basis) with Management and EMEA Finance Team to ensure credit limits of our Partners are secured in every way, both for the company as for our Partners. Working in the Contact team means working in a very fast-paced, highly decisive environment with often short sales cycles. In your role we would expect you to sometimes work under pressure with strict deadlines. You will be the trusted partner of the people in our Contact Center as you are aware of the status of every credit facility, if it’s approved and if we can ship.There’s no doubt you have very strong written and verbal communication and commercial skills and of course you are an expert in MS Excel.It essential that you have a positive personality and like working together with the Velocity team to maintain an upbeat environment.

Desired Experience

- CICM professionally qualified and/or degree educated, preferably within a numerate discipline
- Previous experience in a credit risk environment
- Understanding of the fundamental concepts of credit risk management
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrable reporting experience
- Be willing to travel when required and to be contactable outside standard business hours
