Volunteer Position- Sponsorship Recruiter and Finance Officer

Stichting Centre for African Justice, Peace and Human Rights (CAJPHR) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill the position of Sponsorship Recruiter and Finance Officer as a Volunteer. The successful applicant will work in a team to help organize an event for the motivation, mentorship and empowerment of young ladies of African descent. As such, they will have to seek sponsors for the event, and will have to keep track of all transactions made, create balance sheets, and process invoices. The successful applicant will have shown the ability to work well independently and in a team, and should be able to work coherently and efficiently under a short time span, given the scale of the event.


CAJPHR is seeking candidates that are:

• Able to take on the responsibility of the job
• Keenly interested in international development and the issues facing Africa
• Excellent at multitasking
• Well spoken
Applicants Task may include:

• Keeping record of all transactions made
• Preparing balance sheets
• Finding possibility for collaboration with others
• Contacting potential sponsors
• Seeking and keeping record of all sponsors and donations
• Writing Progress Reports
• Attending and participating in team meetings

Required skills:

• Professional Conduct (e.g. timeliness, accountability)
• Sound experience with financial administration
• Concise writing skills
• Strong intercultural communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
