Fundraising Consultant

Languages: English is the working language. Knowledge of Dutch is preferable but not necessary, the additional knowledge of the following Arabic, French, and Portuguese will also be considered an added advantage, as well as any other (African) languages.

DESCRIPTION/ OVERVIEW:

Centre for African Justice, Peace and Human Rights (CAJPHR) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill the position of Fundraising consultant on a commission-based wage (20% of the proceeds raised).

 The successful applicant will have shown the ability to work well independently and in a team and should be able to work coherently and efficiently under a short time span, given the scale of the event.

APPLICANTS TASKS MAY INCLUDE:

•Organize activities to raise funds

•Sourcing stakeholders/donors willing to provide support to our projects

•Creating invaluable connections between our organisation and said funders

Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Professional conduct (e.g. timeliness, accountability)

• Previous experience and expertise from working within the fundraising environment

• Previous experience working within an NGO, an international organisation or an embassy

• Strong intercultural communication skills

Work Experience:

3-5 Years

Work Hours:

32 hours per week
