Financial Administrator France- Near Native level French speaking and good English

The role of Financial Administrator will be based in Gorinchem, where their European Shared Service Center is located. The accountant reports directly to the Finance Manager France. There is a strong interaction with the operational teams of our French head office located near Paris and with our suppliers.

Accounts Payables (50%)
Process expense invoices in workflow system
Process intercompany invoices in our ERP
Prepare supplier payment batch
Weekly follow-up and analysis of the creditors list
Daily contacts with French suppliers
Daily contact with stakeholders in our French Head Office

Cash Reconciliation (50%)
Upload weekly sales in the system per store
Review, follow-up and control on petty cash and cash variance
Daily booking of the bank
Matching between sales per payment method and cash in
Weekly follow-up on cash reconciliation including balances per payment type and action plan per store
Maintain the cash reconciliation procedure
Daily contact with stores management and third-party for cash collection

Commute with car preferably


Education to degree level MBO4 and/or PDB
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken);
1-2 years relevant work experience, preferably in retail;
Proficient computer skills (MS Office) and experience with Navision is a plus
Self-starter and highly motivated;
Ability to work in a changing environment;
Hands-on and proactive mentality;
Team player who can demonstrate initiative
