Description:

We seek a talented phD student to work on an ambitious project in the field of colloids and soft matter. You will work on the preparation of novel stimuli responsive colloidal particles using a combination of conventional and unconventional synthesis methods (lithography). You will study the self-assembly properties of these particles and the mechanical properties of the assembled materials by microscpy techniques.

The project will be carried out in the newly established group of Dr. Laura Rossi. The PhD student will be part of the larger community of the Advanced Soft Matter section in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Delft University of Technology. Some aspects of the project will be carried out in collaborations both within and outside TU Delft (Utrecht University, UvA, NYU).
