Commis Chef | IZAKAYA

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Commis Chef to join our ongoing growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in assisting to preparing the recipes concerning the planning & making the orders ready at IZAKAYA. You will be expected to prepare & produce the sushi according to the standard requirements of IZAKAYA. Skills of food safety & quality maintenance with a good understanding of high efficiency and concept experience are a must.

  • To ensure all that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
  • To ensure that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity
  • To deputize in the sous chef’s absence and take charge of the kitchen when directed to do so
  • To ensure that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly to the sous chef or head chef
  • To strive to study relevant subjects in preparation to future advancement
