Do you have an affinity with FinTech or interest in it and have experience and/or a desire to work as a Customer Success Manager in SaaS? What’s more, you’d like to be the first one on the Dutch market, co-create the department internally and help build a team and grow from there? This international scale up has recently landed a massive funding round and is ready to go for their next European market! About the company
This European scale up has been founded just a few years ago and already counts over 150 FTE globally, with offices in multiple European markets and counting. One of the newly opened offices is also in the Netherlands, already with several dozen clients at that. They’ve several people joining in Sales in the Netherlands, now the focus is to get their first Customer Success Manager into the team as well as Marketing. Currently with a very small team here, but the plan is to grow up to 45 people or more within the next 12 months! They’ve the advantage of having no direct competition in Europe and with their recent investment of €80M they want to keep the momentum, so their growth plans are already in motion and they are big. What does this mean for you? Massive growth opportunities, especially if you join as their first CSM. They also see the Amsterdam office as the bridge to further European markets like Belgium and Nordics. Clearly the role is very entrepreneurial and you really can have an impact. The best thing about it is though that while you’ll be building the team and department, you won’t be alone in this but have full support of the CS team in their HQ. Are you ready? Your role as the Customer Success Manager
As the Customer Success Manager, you will join this international hyper-growth SaaS scale up and get to really have an impact – not only will you be looking after all the clients in the Benelux region, but you’ll also have huge input in building out the Customer Success department Think defining processes building the team, optimizing what already works and adapting it your market frameworks and more! Of course, there’s more in the opportunity section. With the big hiring plans for the next 12 months, you as their first have a great chance of progressing into a role with more responsibilities and growing into a Team Lead position. If that has always been an ambition for you, this is it. Lastly, as the Dutch market is still in the earlier stages and the focus lies on new client acquisition, the biggest focus of your role will be (new) client onboarding. And speaking of which, your own onboarding will start abroad in the company’s HQ, call it a work-holiday if you must. You’ll see where everything started before you’ll go back to Amsterdam and get things going! Your background:

  • 1+ years in a Customer Success or a similar role
  • Ideally some affinity with the Financial sector/FinTech (also academically)
  • An self-starter, entrepreneur at heart who isn’t afraid to go for it
  • An ambitious and eager individual to truly contribute to the growth of this company
  • Impeccable Dutch and English
