We are looking for an energetic Office Assistant to join our team in Amsterdam!

Tasks

  • Manage accounts payable (ensure that all purchase invoices are accurate, process payments, keep related files updated, liaise with the accountant)
  • Manage accounts receivable (ensure that all sales invoices are issued and paid on time, keep related files updated)
  • Day to day HR responsibilities such as payroll monitoring, registering days off and sick days, updating personnel records, drafting employment contracts, updating the office calendar, assisting with hiring and more
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and off-boarding
  • Address employee queries regarding office matters such as travel arrangements, help with MS Outlook etc.
  • Responsible for the condition of the office at all times, making sure it is tidy, professional and clutter-free
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning and catering
  • Responsible for office supplies (e.g. stationery, hardware, fridge replenishment, fruit etc.)
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Manage common mailboxes and screen communication from website visitors and social media users
  • Assist with event organising (e.g. IamExpat Fair)
  • Plan company happiness events including anniversaries and team bonding activities
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Administrative duties for executive management
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Starting date: March 2019
  • Part-time position: 25 - 30 hours per week (preferably divided over 5 days) at the office
  • Employment contract offered

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in a relevant role (1 year minimum)
  • University degree
  • Effective user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • In possession of a valid work & residence permit (if applicable)
