Our client, a company offering customers high protein snacks, is expanding rapidly across EMEA. The fast growth requires the HR department to ramp up both in terms of strategic impact as well as operational excellence. Currently, they are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Administrator to join their international team in Amsterdam.The HR Administrator will play an important role in boosting growth through flawless execution of HR processes and tailoring processes towards the needs of the organisation enabling team members to perform. They are looking for an eager HR admin professional who wants to drive continuous improvement, working closely with the HR team. For them, that means rolling up your sleeves, not shying away from challenges, taking risks, and pushing hard to get things done.Please note that this is a part-time role (24 hours/week). Job Profile for HR AdministratorResponsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinate payroll activities in the Netherlands for mainly Dutch employees and improve internal regulations and policies
  • Update and educate employees on HR policies and processes
  • Coordinate the payroll process with an external provider ensuring all employees are being paid the right remuneration in a timely manner
  • Constantly update payroll data and check whether all needed changes are implemented
  • Keep the information and parameters in the systems up-to-date and spot any inaccuracies
  • Continuously improve the HR systems and centralise processes into (possibly) one main application
  • Make all policies available to leaders and team members, proactively educate employees by organising online Questions and Answers (Q&A) sessions and address possible concerns
  • Contribute to making the company more attractive as an employer by aligning rewards and benefits to employee needs while scanning the market for trends and developments
  • Be the go-to person for payroll and HR administration questions
  • Facilitate the HR admin process for small groups of employees from other countries whose payroll is also run out of Amsterdam
  • Be part of a nimble HR Team in Amsterdam

Candidate Profile for HR Administrator

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR administration experience is a must
  • Experience with payroll processes in the Netherlands is required
  • Experience with payroll software is needed
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Hands-on mentality and proactive attitude
