  • Communicate with Capital Markets departments, counterparties and other group companies in the Head Offices
  • This department monitors forex rates and risk management with regard to interest rate developments
  • Formulating the documentation of financial transactions
  • Review, confirm the details of the trades and liaising with counterparties (internal/external)
  • Prepare, check and coordinate mentioned payment instructions
  • Keep the treasury system updated with all transaction details
  • Revising the details of loan offers and coordinating document draftings of Pricing Supplement or any additional ones related to the Debt Issuance Program (DIP)
  • Communicate with the Front Office located internationally and any other external parties, the Head of Back Office and the Management of the company
  • Operational cash management in the currencies necessary ensuring that funds are available to meet obligations and avoid excess idle funds
  • FX Risk and Interest Rate management in consultation with other departments
  • Monthly liquidity reporting in the database
  • Calculate market values of financial instruments
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Backup to the Deputy Head of Back Office and the treasury office team
  • Test processes when new products or updates are planned in SAP
  • Keep up digital filing system and search for improvements
  • Own initiative to bring up ideas for optimising workflows


  • A minimum of HBO level of education (in Economics or Finance)
  • Fluent in English in a business environment is required (German would be an asset)
  • Specific, attention to detail, accurate and punctual
  • Mathematical mind and analytical thinking
  • Able to achieve results independently as well as within a team
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility to deliver results
  • Able to prioritise and work with high volume tasks
  • Energetic and problem-solving
  • Experience with MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
  • Experience with SAP or CRM systems preferred

Salary Benefits:

  • 3,500€ to 4,200€ bruto monthly salary depending on experience and education
  • This is a long term position with the objective of becoming a permanent employee (initially starting with a temporary contract with Undutchables)
  • Starting date ASAP

  • At the beginning you will be required to work at the office frequently due to training. Remote work can be discussed at a later stage.

About the company:

Our client is an international company located in the heart of Amsterdam. the headquarters are based in Germany. However, this position is based in Amsterdam together with a total of 15 employees. You will be working in a team with 3 other people. The organisation supports and finances other group companies. You will be joining the financial operational department. This department has the responsibility for the documentation and settlement of all financial transactions, payments, control and calculations in connection with loans, issuing of Commercial papers and Bonds, forex transactions, MM deposits, interest rate and cross currency interest rate swaps.
