Summary & Scope of Position:
This position handles all administrative, secretarial and other support related activities for the Senior Director, Sales EMEA and the commercial organization(sales and marketing).

To accomplish this, a number of key responsibilities are listed:

Primary responsibilities
• Support the Senior Director, Sales EMEA in his daily business responsibilities by:
 Managing his calendar.
 Coordinate and preparation of meetings (internally and externally), including PowerPoint presentations.
 Preparation of reports and taking minutes, if required.
 Coordinate conference calls.
 Organizing (complex) international travel arrangements, including visa applications and expenses (via Concur). Organizing and attending, if required, internal meetings (Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) and Sales/Marketing meetings). Screening incoming calls and correspondence; generation of documents; special projects and other general administrative and commercial support. • Support the Commercial team by coordinating meetings (internally and externally), conference calls, travel arrangements, preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
• Ensure timely and correctly distribution of the weekly sales reports.
• Manages elements of the interface between (senior) management and staff and between Cerus Europe and Cerus U.S.
• General Administrative and Reception tasks, such as:
 Dealing with visitors to the office, from providing route descriptions to boardroom arrangements.
 Answering telephone.
 Internal distribution of incoming post, etc.
 Ordering of office supplies and catering, and handling deliveries.


• Works on special projects as needed.
• Back up for the Management Assistant EMEA
• Collaborate with Legal with regards to overall compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications / Requirements / Skills

Education and experience• University/HBO+ level through education or experience, preferably in combination with a (international) commercial/management assistant education.• Previous working experience (at least 4 years) with an international, (Bio) pharmaceutical company; basic knowledge of pharmaceutical/medical terminology and abbreviations is desirable.
• Experience and knowledge in the areas mentioned above under requirements and responsibilities.
• General office administration experience.
• Experience in coordinating and scheduling (large) meetings.
• Extensive experience in making travel arrangements (domestic and international).

Capabilities
• Strong MS-office skills. Powerpoint, Excel and Word
• Proven organizational skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and you native language. Additional language skills are useful: Dutch, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
