AeroHolland Flying School for Expats05 December 2013, by IamExpat Spotter
Ever wanted to learn how to pilot a plane? Or maybe to see, and photograph, the Netherlands from a totally different perspective? Are you dreaming of someone to help you take to the wide open skies?
Meet AeroHolland, the newly established flying school that provides flight training for the European Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to the expat community in the Netherlands.
Certified flight training for expats
Nothing compares to the freedom of flying. Are you interested in starting a new hobby - or even a career in aviation? AeroHolland can help you get your full European Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
› European Private Pilot License in English
The PPL course requires a minimum of 45 flight hours’ training and passing seven theoretical aviation-related subjects.
While training is offered in English (or Dutch), the final practical and theoretical exams are both conducted in English.
› Tailor-made training
Before commencing a PPL course, students take a trial flight and have an extensive discussion with the instructors on their expectations and potential, so instructors are able to design a tailor-made flight training programme for each student.
› Available airplanes
Flight training can be taken on the well-known "traditional" Cessna 150 or 172 airplanes, or on more advanced aircraft like the Aquila A210.
› How about a trial flight?
Does flying a plane sound fascinating, but you want to give it a shot first? Book a one-hour trial flight!
› Share the thrill
Interested in sharing this unique experience with a family member, friend or partner? Having an additional passenger is also possible! Contact AeroHolland for options.
