The Hague's winter service
Starting November 28, The Hague’s winter service will be on call 24 hours a day to treat roads and bicycle paths due to ice or snow with 3.000 tonnes of road salt - 1.000 tones more than last year.
The Municipality of The Hague also asks residents and businesses to do their part by keeping the area in front of their homes, shops or offices as clear as possible.
Small amounts of road salt will be available for free at:
› The garbage and recycling stations
› The city farms (closed on Monday)
› The sub-municipal offices (apart from Centrum)
