[Update] Missing person: Gijs Thio

The 40-year old wine importer Gijs Thio has been missing since the early hours of February 26. He was last seen at 5am on the Lindengracht, he cycled to the Nieuwmarkt area (via the Haarlemstraat) and parked his bike on the Warmoesstraat.

[Update - March 29]
The body of Gijs Thio was found yesterday, March 28. The police will inspect his body in order to determine the cause of death but stated that "there is no reason to assume a crime" at this point.
