Following her popular debut novel Special Topics in Calamity Physics, American author Marisha Pessl has recently released a second novel.
The Hague's Border Kitchen will interview Marisha Pessl and lead a discussion around her latest book, the chillingly suspenseful Night Film.
About the novel
Night Film falls between fact and fiction. On a damp October night, beautiful young Ashley Cordova is found dead in an abandoned warehouse in lower Manhattan.
Though her death is ruled a suicide, veteran investigative journalist Scott McGrath suspects otherwise. He has been following the Cordova family for years and is obsessed with Stanislas Cordova, the legendary, reclusive cult horror film-maker and Ashley’s father.
"A literary mystery that’s also a page-turner...Night Film might be the most talked-about novel this summer.'" - Time Out New York
