Writers Unlimited Winternachten Festival 2014Festivals / The Hague
January 16-19 2014, Various times
Authors, poets and storytellers from the Netherlands and abroad will assemble in The Hague to network, debate and celebrate their work during the Writers Unlimited Winternachten Festival 2014!
The Writers Unlimited Festival seeks to connect writers with each other and to their audiences.
Offering a platform for discussion, the annual festival creates encounters between diverse groups of individuals through which their literary work, experiences, dreams and ideas can be shared.
Festival Theme: "Like Me"
For the 2014 edition of the festival, the organisers have chosen to address the "Like Me" culture that is now associated with social media.
Although not an encompassing theme, the title is an allusion to the effects that social media has had on global society, literature and methods of engaging a variety of publics.
