Aptly taking place in The Hague, the City of Peace and Justice, the Movies that Matter Festival presents a programme with nearly 70 diverse films where human rights take centre stage.
The international film and debate festival showcases feature length and short films along with documentaries and animated films from international directors, covering topics like gay rights in Uganda and women's rights in India.
Film screenings will take place at two locations in The Hague: Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui.
This spring, a selection films will tour different cities throughout Netherlands until May 2013.
