The Hague Museum Night 2014Festivals / The Hague
06 September, 8pm - 1.30am
Museum Night is back in The Hague for its fifth edition featuring nearly 40 cultural institutions and museums welcoming visitors for special late night events and activities!
Each year, a mix of museums, galleries and other creative organisations focus on the night-owls in a festive event that sees special activities, exhibitions and parties in unexpected locations.
From 8pm to 1.30am, art-lovers can rejoice as renowned institutions such as the Gemeentemuseum, Het Nutshuis, Koninklijke Schouwburg and Mauritshuis let down their hair and show their edge with DJs, video-performances and discos that aren't normally part of their repertoire.
Although normally past their bed time, there is also a portion of the Museum Night that begins earlier dedicated to children. The Kids Museum Night includes an exciting roller disco in the Atrium, a Royal Children's Ball at the Haags Historisch Museum and the opportunity to create masterpieces in the Mauritshuis!
