The ever popular Dutch Stukafest returns this February to a variety of cities around the Netherlands!

What is Stukafest?

Stukafest is short for "StudentenKamerFestival" or "Student Rooms Festival."

A unique event in the Netherlands, Stukafest sees students in various cities voluntarily allow performers and audience members to transform their room into a venue for an evening.

Already in its 14th edition, Stukafest will take place across a total of 13 different cities in the Netherlands.

In each city, a map is made of the participating locations. The evening is subsequently divided into three rounds of performances with a half-hour between each performance.

Since the student rooms are generally close in proximity, this allows visitors time to travel between three different venues and see three different performances.

The performances come from a variety of disciplines and include live music, dance, poetry and literature, cabaret and theatre.

At the end of each Stukafest is the Stukafeest, a big after-party at a central location somewhere in the city!

Notes

Main performances begin at 8.30pm, but each city varies regarding pre-party and after-party times.
Tickets are purchased à la carte. Select your city, go to the programme, click to add performances of your choice (via the plus sign), and then scroll down to check-out once your selection has been made.
