After two successful editions, the Dutch Beer Week (Het Week van Nederlandse Bier) is back with an expanded programme that puts the attention on enjoying domestically brewed beers.

About Dutch Beer Week

The Netherlands is the largest exporter of beer in Europe, but Dutch beer is more than just Heineken and Amstel. There are more than 140 breweries operating in the Netherlands!

With a very rich tradition in brewing, the organisers of Dutch Beer Week have made it their mission to draw attention to the booming beer scene in the many provinces, cities and villages throughout the Netherlands.

Looking beyond taste and enjoyment, the week-long event also wants to raise awareness of pressing issues in the industry such as sustainability and the economic importance of brewing.

During the week, breweries will open their doors to visitors, master classes will be held in production techniques and the very popular Dutch Beer Festival will take place in The Hague!
