The Cobra Museum will host Metahaven Selected Projects 2010-2014, an exhibition by Amsterdam- based design collective Metahaven, in honour of their winning the Cobra Art Prize Amstelveen 2013.
About Cobra and Metahaven
The Cobra Museum of Modern Art Amstelveen strives to keep the legacy of the international Cobra Movement alive by offering a space for artistic experimentation and expression.
In line with the Cobra mantras of freedom and experimentation, passion, vitality and social engagement, the Metahaven retrospective will showcase the collective's commitment to contemporary network culture and their belief in a more transparent and horizontal organisation.
Metahaven Selected Projects 2010-2014 presents a selection of Metahaven's graphic work representing their commitment to social engagement and the cross-pollination of ideas via artistic practice.
Founded in 2007 by Vinca Kruk and Daniel van der Velden, this show is the collective's first solo exhibition.
