Dutch Dance Festival 2014Dance / Maastricht
October 03-05, Various
The Dutch Dance Festival takes the best works of choreographers from the previous season and combines them with premiers for three days full of exhilarating performances!
The best of Dutch dance in Maastricht
Taking place the on first weekend of October since 1998, the Dutch Dance Festival is a platform for developing choreographers, expert dancers and enthusiasts to gather and find out what's happening in the Dutch dance scene.
More than just a string of performances, the three days are loaded with opportunities to network, dancers to meet each other, talent to be scouted and ideas to be shared.
Along with the 14 officially selected performances, the Dance Days Specials and Dance Days Satellites round out the programme by putting the focus on specific issues and brainstorming new ways of how to connect audiences to the work. Whether an industry professional or a dance sceptic, the selections are broad enough to interest all types of fans!
