Imagine Film Festival 2014Festivals / Amsterdam
April 09-18, Various
Imagine Film Festival (IFF) returns to Amsterdam's EYE Film Institute to present the latest and greatest in horror, fantasy, sci-fi and cult cinema!
About Imagine Film Festival
Currently in its 30th edition, esteemed film festival IFF will again bring viewers a curated selection from the more marginal genres of horror, terror and cult films.
Beginning as the Weekend of Terror in 1984, the current IFF emerged as a result of a dedicated community and fan base of all things related to films meant to scare.
Today, the festival has expanded to a full ten days and offers a full programme of screenings, workshops, meet and greets, Q&As with directors and masterclasses for fans from all over the world.
A member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF), IFF also gives out a range of annual awards including the Silver Scream Award (audience chosen), Silver Méliès (best European feature), Black Tulip Award (best feature), Time Capsule Award (best trailer) and the MovieZone Award (youth chosen).
