The Hortus Festival returns this year to the cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden and Haren hosting some of the most divine classical music in the serene ambiance of the cities' botanical gardens.
About the Hortus Festival
Forming a bridge between nature and music, the month long programme sees a series of classical performances in various locations in the gardens.
Founded by William Raaijman in 2003, the festival has grown to be a popular event known for inspiring performances with an intimate atmosphere.
Already in their 11th edition of the festival, the theme for 2014 is Beethoven.
