Cinedans is a meeting place for choreographers, directors and film and dance lovers from around the world; a platform for exchanging ideas.
In the last decade, Cinedans has grown into the largest and most diverse dance festival around the globe!
The 2013 edition will focus on looking back at significant developments in the fusion of dance and film while also looking towards the future of these artistic mediums.
Taking place at Amsterdam’s EYE Film Institute, the festival will feature a programme with dozens of films, along with interactive installations throughout EYE.
This exciting festival will include feature-length dance films, dance documentaries, the One Minute Dance Film Contest and more!
Associated with the festival’s 10th anniversary, Cinedans will host a "Best of" programme including animated clips, fashion and music videos and commercials.

This year, Cinedans is also collaborating with the Dutch National Ballet to present a unique series of films focusing on master choreographer and dance world icon Hans van Manen and video maestro Henk van Dijk.
